The program is a joint initiative with the Liga ng mga Barangay.<\/p>\n<p>Jimenez said the barangay league plans to adopt the stores in more villages this year to reach more residents and make waste management a way of life.<\/p>\n<p>The efforts support Zero Waste Month every January, which aims to raise awareness on reducing, reusing and recycling waste.
